Install and first-year care

Built carefully. Checked again.

A landscape takes root after the last plant goes in. We stay involved.

Landscape crew building sandstone steps on a wooded slope

What an install week looks like.

Before digging, Tess checks the big trees and the root zones that should be left alone. The crew protects roots, sets stone deliberately, plants to the drawing, and keeps the site orderly as the work moves.

You receive a watering schedule for the fridge before we leave. It tells you exactly what the new garden needs and when.

01

Root protection

We work around the trees that make your yard worth having.

02

Two check-ins

We return twice in the first year to see how the garden is settling.

03

One replacement

Any plant that dies in its first year is replaced once at no charge.

“The hill used to wash onto the driveway every storm. It has not moved since the steps went in.”
